Learning about wheat Grain

During the past few weeks of this Term we have been engaged in making bread and bread butter pudding. We not only had fun
making but also eating.
We also planted wheat seeds and monitored the growth. This wheat grass could be cut and juiced if you wished. Some of us have also planted wheat grains at home, hoping that it will grow into wheat with an "ear."

Little Red Hen

This Friday we a presenting a "readers theatre version "of the Little Red Hen. In the picture we have some of the hens. We chose this story as the Little Red Hen made bread like we did, but because we all helped we were able to eat it unlike some of the characters in the story.
